Problems with Fitbit Charge 3 Bluetooth Syncing and Heartrate

I have a Fitbit charge 3. I have restarted my phone and Fitbit multiple times. I deleted the app from my phone and restarted it. I have removed the charge 3 from my app and now after trying to set it up as a new device, it will not pair. The numbers to pair show up on my Fitbit, but as soon as I try and pair it it it spins while saying "connecting to Fitbit...".

It eventually connects after 20 mins. But I am afraid it will stop syncing like usual. I do not want to carry around the charging cord to restart my Fitbit every time it stops syncing. Is there a fix? 

And now it is not tracking my heart rate on the app. I am not sure how to even try and fix that. 

 

Why are there so many issues for an expensive device? 

 

I have never worn my Fitbit in water and I am very careful with the device. I got the Fitbit in late December so it's only a few months old.

Me too. I noticed it got screwed up when Apple did their latest update on March 27th. Been stuck ever since.

Same with mine. I am going to take it back to Costco with my receipt, original box and see if they will give me a new one. I will let you know if that works.
