Product real life: 2 years + 2 months (broken wristband support)

Same experience like others here... Wristband support broken, unusable product.
How long would you expect these product to last at your wrist with normal+careful usage?

Not really 2 years + 2 months after purchase.

Customer support, after a chat enriched with useless mushy pleasantries, offered a 35% discount to buy a new product...

Do they really think I am going to spend money for a new product that will break in a short time?
Can you buy reliability and brand confidence?

I’m on my second Fitbit that has broken at the connector with the wristband.  They’ll tell me it’s out of warranty, yada-yada; tough luck.  A product designed to be worn while doing strenuous activities and, in my case, gardening etc. should hold together better.  I’m finished with Fitbit because of the stupid wristband connection.  The product works fine.  If they would just make a decent wristband that doesn’t break, it would be a great product. Not wasting any more money on Fitbits.  What a shame.

Fitbit is crap!!  Same thing happened to mine.  I was lucky (not really and I'll get to that) that it was still under warranty and they sent me a replacement in April.  I did crazy glue my band onto the old one so I could at least wear it until the new one came.  I'm 3 months in with my new one and now, like a lot of other people, the screen stays black.  I've tried resetting, it works for a few minutes then it's back to black.  I contacted support and they gave the same song and dance that although the device is outside the scope of Fitbit's warranty terms, they are offering me a 35% discount on a new Fitbit device. It's 3 months old!! I will NEVER buy another fitbit.  So done!  Sorry for the rant!
