Re: Charge 2 not pairing anymore

Hi,

I have exactly the same issues.

Recently I have bought a Charge3 and connected with my iPhone app (it worked with Charge 2 as well).

Now my wife wanted to use Charge2 and I have installed FitBit App on Huwaeii on Android.

The application has been installed correctly, but I cannot pair Charge2 with the phone.

What is seen on the app during the pairing process there is 21.22.2 version app while on the Charge2 there is 22.55.02 version. I am not sure it generates any kind of technical issues or maybe doesn't matter what version is on App and Charge2. Otherwise, how can I update either App or Charge2? There is no way to do an upgrade

In the guide provided somewhere in the community, there is a suggestion to restart or turn off Charge2. But how can I do it? The is no turn on/off button or hidden restart key.

I hope you can assist me and the issues can be resolved.

Marcin

The latest Charge 2 firmware is 22.55.02 so yes your Charge 2 is up to date.

Have you removed the Charge 2 from your phone's bluetooth trusted devices? This step will be needed, if your phone is nearby and on, before you will be able to setup on your wife's phone.

May I ask at what step of the setup process does the failure occur and do you get any error messages? If do what would they be?

Your problem is with the initial setup on a phone that is know to have problems.

I might suggest using your iPhone,  log into your wife's Fitbit account,  SSRI the Charge 2 to here account,  a user does not set up a Fitbit to the engine, but to the users account.

Note log out of her account,  remove the Charge 2 freon your phone's bluetooth.

On your wife's phone,  logged into her account,  the Charge 2 will show and try and sync.

As for restarting,  this is explained in your user manual and on the online help guides.  Help link found below.

I'm also going to move your post to it's own thread, the thread I found it in is confusing enough with already 4 unrelated problems
