trying to pair to account for tracker fitbit

Hello @buddy1936 have you bought a Fitbit product and want to connect it to your Fitbit account?
Usually a user will user their phone. First going to http://www.fitbit.com/setup this page will direct the user to the needed app for their phone or computer.
Then they will install, run, and log into their Fitbit account and do the add device routine.
BTW it has been close to 9 months since the Charge 2 was sold. Is this the tracker you want to setup? The setup process requires the user to know which unit is being setup. The box will have a name or look at the pictures on the help site.

Let me help you with your new device. Did you follow the instructions shared by @Rich_Laue to setup your device? Could you share a picture of your device to see if we can determine which device is? You can see pictures of most devices in our help site too.
