I am not able to read my charge4 when out in day light or when sun is shining. Is there anyway this can be corrected.

The display on my Charge 4 is impossible to read when outdoors and the sun shines just a little bit.

  • I have tried changing the brightness from "Auto" to "Normal"... none of them are bright enough.
  • I have checked that the "DND" of off, "Sleep" mode is off and "Screen Wake" is on.
  • I have tried restarting the device.
  • I have even reset the device.

I have read many other people in this community having the same problem. Some of them got rid of the problem via the ideas/suggestions listed above. But unfortunately not me 😞

What else?

Any suggestions as to how I can solve this issue?

Best regards,

Ivan

Gosh @ivan8680 I can certainly admire all the troubleshooting and research you did trying to fix your display brightness. I too have noticed an increase in individuals having the same issue. If you have tried all that can possibly be done at this point then I’d call Fitbit Customer Service: https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en_US  Maybe they might have a suggestion that has not been discussed/discovered here on the forums.

@Mckwilson @ivan8680 A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your messages and efforts.   I merged your threads as it seems that you both have a similar situation.

As our friend MegaBite already did,I would recommend  you both to have a chat or call with our team

They'll be glad to have a closer look at your Charge 4.

See you around.
