My fitbit app(charge 2) all of a sudden claims I have done several eliptical workouts. wich I have not. It also does not recognise my bike rides and real workouts, wich has never been a problem before. I have tried to remove device from app and set it back up. Same problem..

Hello @thetiger your app will also tell you what time this "elliptical" was recorded.

For gaining insight, we will need to know what you where you doing with your hands/arms at these times?

For me, my unicycle rides always get recorded as an elliptical because of the back and forth motion of the arms to help ballance.

I did basically nothing during the eliptical so avg heart rate just above 60, but probably waving in a fast motion (a cheating method to reach 250 hourly steps) has started it. Just walking back and forward in a room to to the 250 hourly steps has also started some of these exercises. I have no problem with it recording fake exercises as they can be deleted, but its that it does´nt recognise real exercises. I have actually turned off the possibility of recognise elipticals now.
