Red spot on the Fitbit app

How do I clear red spot off notifications when I have opened everything

Hello @Ellis07gemma! I hope you are doin' fine! If you are getting the red dot on the notifications tab, and you have no notifications unread, please make sure that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app installed on your phone.

I have the most recent one on and red spot is still showing

Thanks for your answer @Ellis07gemma! Could you please try to log out from your account and log back in? If the red spot still there, please try to force quit the app and re open it.

Same issue and it's driving me crazy.  I've:

 

updated the app

logged out and back in from the app

restated my phone

restarted my fitbit

 

and a variety of combinations of the above...

 

I am still getting message alerts, for very old messages I'd happily never see again.

 And as of the day I first review a message - June 18 2018 - I no longer receive notifications of the 'Almost there! Get ... Steps more to hit your daily goal' sort.

It seems like the messages are blocking notifications.
