Keep on finding that I am waking up to discover that I have already spent an hour or so in the Fat Burn Zone. Often I am aware of a high pulse rate because it wakes me, or very often restless periods of sleep overlap with that high pulse rate. Not sure how concerned to be about this but feel I need to present this data to my GP. Not sure how? Have taken some screenprints from my phone, but surely there has to be an easier way than this. Help. GP knows nothing about fitbit so will need some persuasion to accept the data anyway I expect. Anybody else had this problem, and if so how have you approached your doctor?

Hi @CJOBear
It's possible to be in the fat burn zone for a longer time without needing to exercise (cause of being ill, once was a whole day.. in the fat burn zone without knowing). Doctor confirmed had a fever.. needing to rest for a longer time..
Hope your not getting sick.
It's not possible to export heart rate data, you can show the screenshots to your GP,.. though a doctor will recognize if being ill 'cause they have studied for and recognize any symptoms..
If you have something to take your body temperature, feel free to check if not having a higher temperature than normally.

Thanks. Don't think it is a fever though. Been bugging me for too long for that. Feel B exhausted though, so something up. Will book in with the GP and see what he makes of it all.

Eventually found it was acid reflux which was causing my heart rate to rise. Took forever to find that out though.

Hi CJO Bear. I’ve just come across this thread and I too frequently experience high heart rates at night. I also suffer with LPR (silent reflux). I’ve noticed if I drink any alcohol then I definitely register the fat burn zone at night.
Would you mind me asking how you eventually came to the conclusion that acid reflux was responsible?
