Reminders to move not working on Charge 2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My reminders to move have not been working since the latest update.  I've tried toggling on and off, disconnecting and reconnecting.  Getting a bit frustrated as it's been over 2 weeks now.

@Ecmomtg what is the nothing that you have tried so far?

Checked to see if it is turned on in the tracker?

Is it enabled I the app and then a sync done,?

Nothing worked. As in I tried everything that was suggested. I went to the
fitbit help site, I looked at all of these comments and suggestions. I
tried everything suggested everywhere I looked. My comment was brief, after
trying to solve it for 3 hours I had wasted enough time. I was just hoping
the Fitbit gods would see how many people were having trouble and fix the
problem that they probably caused in the first place. I even went so far as
to change fitbit's. Mine had stopped figuring out when I exercised as it
had for the previous year and I had to start manually logging it and it had
me on the elliptical at 9 pm when I was sitting on the couch. So I changed
to my husbands since he quit using his. Guess what? Still no reminders to
move. So, I hope, Rich_Laue, this answers your question.

Mine isn’t giving me reminders either and I have no idea how to fix it.

Glad it's not just me!

Mine tells me when I hit 250 for the hour, but doesn't vibrate to remind me to get up and do 250.

Display reminder is intermittent at best.

Add it to the other bugs. Think I find a used Charge HR on eBay....

Without rereading 14 pages to see if a solution was posted.
There is a detailed response by AlejandraFitbit (moderator) to a similar thread, which worked for me.

Ihave the Charger 2 and the "Clock Face Fix" did the trick for me. Thanks!

Clock Face fix

1) Go to Account > Choose device > Clock face, select a different one

2) Sync fitbit

3) Go to Account > Choose device > Clock face, select the original one

4) Sync again

Am I supposed to go to my Fitbit account? I do not find a clock face option.

There are 2 places to turn on notifications. One is in the set up on your
computer or mobile device. The other is on the watch itself. Push the
button - notifications is on my 5th screen. It should say "Notifications
on".

My notifications are on. If I go to the 5th screen on my Fitbit, it says Relax.

Fitbit helped me. Put your Fitbit on charger, turn off notifications, turn back on, hold the button on your Fitbit for 4 seconds. Worked for me.

Thank you, but I had already tried that. The suggestion I responded to worked. I appreciate the help.

Mine has not been giving me reminders to move nor has it been showing texts or phone calls. Anyone found a fix?

@ValarieN see above it sounds like your tracker is in its DND mode.

While vieingvitye clock hold in the button.

Yes, hold in the button on fitbit, then it should move from notifications
"off" to notifications ON.

Now I know this is probably just a Coincidence and it’s a little strange but I was having the same problems as everybody else and when I  screen captured it and then I sent it via air to my iPad and always well immediately. My wrist buzzed and told me to walk 250 steps so I did the walk And it buzzed again so far all is well I know it’s freaky but it worked
