Remove Female Health and Weight loss tile on Charge 3

I have a charge 3 and when I swipe up from the bottom to see steps, steps/hour, heart rate etc., I also see items that I don't wish to see on my wrist.  Specifically the female health and weight lost.

Is there a way to not have these show on the device and only on the app on my phone?

Welcome on board @SunsetRunner! If you no longer want Female Health Tracking on your Charge 3, please consider deleting all the info input for female health tracking on your Fitbit app. Once you completely remove the data inserted and then sync again it will remove the tile from your tracker.

Please note that you can't remove your female health tracking data only from the device, you must remove your data from the Fitbit app to delete the information from your device. Hiding the female health tracking tile from your app dashboard does not delete your female health tracking data from your mobile app or your device.

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the female health tile.
  2. Tap or click a date on the calendar inside the period you want to delete.
  3. Tap or click the pencil icon.
  4. Tap or click Delete.

In regards to Weight loss, you can remove many of the apps installed on your watch, although some apps, such as Today and Settings, can't be removed.

Hope this helps, let me know if these steps work!

Scroll the menu all the way down and then a pink "Edit" button will appear which lets you add and remove tiles.

Thanks for your input my friend @SunsetRunner! However, the steps you're providing are for the Fitbit app. As mentioned above, Today (what's included in Today) and Settings can't be removed.

On the other hand, Female Health Tracking can be removed as long as you delete all the periods logged in the Fitbit app first.

Hope this clarifies the inquiry!

Hi. It removed the data but not the title on the watch.

If there is data in the app then I will see the title on the watch? I like the data for weight loss being available in the app but dont really care to see it on my watch.

Oh, sorry. My mistake. I didn't understand you're talking about the watch, not the app.

You're right @SunsetRunner. But this only applies for Female Health, Weight loss can't be removed from your tracker even if you remove the data in your Fitbit app.

About Female Health, did you remove all the periods logged?

No worries my friend @SunsetRunner! Smiley Very Happy

Keep me posted!

It did work.  Thank you for your assistance.  Maybe in a future update there will be the option to remove from the watch like there is with the Charge 2.

I have no data in the female health app. I have repeatedly tried to delete it using the edit feature. Also trying to delete water, calories tiles. Whenever I edit, select done and resync, they appear when I sign in again. How can I get rid of them?

Welcome on board @Ontheledge! Thanks for trying the steps recommended in order to remove the Female Health Tile.

To hide the female health tile:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click Edit at the bottom of the dashboard.
  2. Tap or click the x or - icon in the top left corner of the female health tile.
  3. Tap or click Done

If the tile is still not working, can you please let me know if you're using Android or iOS device?

Hi @Ontheledge and @tigger25! We totally understand how are you feeling and we appreciate your feedback about the Female Health Tile.

Please note that you can't remove your female health tracking data only from the device, you must remove your data from the Fitbit app to delete the information from your device. Hiding the female health tracking tile from your app dashboard does not delete your female health tracking data from your mobile app or your device.

However, if the steps mentioned above did not work for you, keep in mind that our Support Team is aware of this issue.

I got a charge 3 for Christmas. I am 70 , and active but I do not need or want any of the female tracking. It keeps showing up on my Fitbit app on my tablet's dashboard and I am unable to remove it permanently.

Hi there @skye1949, welcome to the Community Forums.

As mentioned above, note that you can't remove your female health tracking data only from the device, you must remove your data from the Fitbit app to delete the information from your device. Hiding the female health tracking tile from your app dashboard does not delete your female health tracking data from your mobile app or your device.

Then,  to show, hide, or rearrange tiles on your dashboard:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap Edit at the bottom.
  2. To hide tiles, tap the x or -  icon in the top left of the tile you want to hide.
  3. To show hidden tiles, tap the + icon in the top left of the tile you want to show.
  4. To rearrange tiles, hold and drag the tile to a new location.
  5. Tap Done.

Hope this helps you, let me know if you need further assistance.

Have there been any updates? I’m trying to figure out how to get the weight off my daughters Fitbit. She certainly doesn’t want her friends to scroll through and find it.

Not being able to get rid of the weight tile on the device would be ridiculous. I’m hoping I’m missing something...
