Replacement for Charge due to band issue

I only recently started using my Charge and the band is already coming apart from the device after 4 months of use. Fitbit will offer a replacement but did not say what they would replace it with. Has anyone recently been offered a replacement for a Charge (original) and what model did they send (since it was discontinued used)? Thanks.
