So I thought “removing” my Charge 2 from the app would reset the Fitbit to factory settings…. I was wrong and now I cannot connect it as it still acts as though it’s connected to my phone, when I can’t get it back into my app - I was trying to reset it to sync it to my fiancés phone for him to use

@Karijean - When you “remove device from phone,” in the Fitbit app, you also need to go into your Bluetooth settings and “forget this device.” Please try doing that. Then go back into your app to add a device. Hopefully this will work. As you discovered, removing from device does not reset to factory settings. That is a separate function.
If you can please clarify whether you are giving your Charge 2 to your fiancé to add to his own Fitbit account (so truly want to do a factory reset) … or if you simply wanted him to see your data … I can be more specific with tips on making it happen.
