My display is fading and I have tried the "best answer" which is to do a restart and it just got worse. Once again Fitbit has let me down. At first it was the issues with the bands breaking, now you can get a replacement; but how to replace a fading display other then getting another fitbit. I have a friend who works at HP and she days that these companies makes this to last for so long so that you are forced to buy another device. I am going to start looking for suggestions on other brand trackers that hopefully last longer then a year with no issues. It's weird that the first tracker that I had lasted 3 years before I started have problems with the band breaking, but not that bands are easily replaceable, it's the actual device that is having issues, meaning you have to buy a new one. Beyond frustrated. 😞
