Ridiculous Shipping Delays

I'll never pre-order again. I ordered something through an Etsy shop in Lithuania on the same day. That already arrived but your Fitbit 3 hasn't. 😣 Never again.

@Nunya5 sorry to hear this. Our free standard shipping takes 5-7 business days. It looks like your pre-order shipped out on 10/5 (when we started shipping) and will arrive on 10/15. The holiday on Monday may have added to this, but it's still in the window. If you still don't receive it by Monday let our team know, we will be happy to research further.

Every time I check it,the delivery date extends. I'll never pre-order again. Period.

It's coming from Indianapolis to DFW, not China.

It went from delivery date of October 9 to 10 to 11 to 12 to 13 to 15. That's plain ridiculous no matter how many votes your response gets.

@Nunya5 I understand if you may want to wait until it's available for purchase at retail instead of preordering. Also, there are expedited shipping methods if you don't want the standard time.

Aug 23: Ordered Charge 3 online

Oct 4: Email stated Charge 3 shipped (label created)

Oct 5: Shipped

Oct 13: Expected date of delivery

Oct 11: Charge 3 delivered (earlier than expected) via US Mail

 

It has been my experience that when shippers use the shipping method called Smart Post (a combination of FedEx and USPS), the dates shown for delivery are longer than one would expect.    The time is takes for the package to make the transition from FedEx to USPS is often unknown, therefore a longer than expected delivery date is given... and sometimes it takes even longer than expected, hence the extended delivery dates one is given.  It is very frustrating, I know, because one doesn't know if the item is still with FedEx or has been transferred over to the USPS for delivery.  I live in S. Florida and the transition for my Fitbit, from FedEx to USPS,  took place in Orlando, FL.

I am experiencing the same shipping delay problem. Infact there is no update regarding my consignment number. I have contacted every possible team, tweeted, dmed, mailed none of them reply to the messages. I had placed order for my fitbit versa 2 on 7th august. The product was in stock. Till today there is no update regarding my status. Your customer support team tel me that they have no access to the login cause i am from India. I have mailed multiple times to the support team in India. This is my last hope. I really hope atleast you respond to my mail.
