Rising resting heart rate

Hi,

Anybody experienced rising resting heart rate?  Mine seems to have jumped from 66 resting to 73 since last week. I haven't done anything different... any suggestions on how to bring it back down again?

Interpreting rising RHR is an individual thing, so tough to generalize.

But a rapid rise like that, as opposed to gradual long-term rise, might mean that you are getting sick - say catching a cold, or you haven't been getting enough sleep, or you have been increasing your exercise without giving your body enough time to recover.

Or it could be just random noise.

Some people see that a sign to try to get extra rest, either for exercise recovery or to help your body fight off a coming sickness.

I've seen mine go up a few BPM in the last few days and am wondering if it correlates to some allergy symptoms I'm been having.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
