Hello @Sadie22 thanks for bringing this to my attention, it's a pleasure to give you a hand with your Charge 2 and also give you a warm welcome to the Community Forums!

Let me share with you that the Samsung Galaxy A20 is not currently listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you may experience certain connection difficulties with it. I'm aware that some users are able to use non-compatible devices with our Fitbit products, however, we cannot ensure a proper function of all its features due to this compatibility concern. That being said, even though your mobile device is not compatible, please give it a try to our help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

If by any chance you're still unable to use your Fitbit with your mobile device, I suggest you to try with a compatible device or a computer to avoid this situation

I'll be here if you need anything else, please keep me posted.

Thanks for the timely response. It is truly unfortunate that my new Samsung
is not comparable with the Charge2. Is there a plan in place to include
this series of phones to the "accepted" list and if there is will there be
a notice published to users? It is truly inconvenient to only be able to
use my Samsung tablet or PC to sync with my tracker.

You're welcome @Sadie22, sorry for the delay in responding your post.

Let me share with you that we're always working and testing different brands of mobile devices to make sure that such devices meet all the necessary requirements for our users to enjoy the Fitbit experience as the way we designed it. Therefore, my best advise will be to use a compatible device in the meantime and periodically check our compatibility list to verify if the mobile device under discussion, which in this case is the Samsung Galaxy A20, was added.

Don't hesitate to ask me any additional questions you may have, I'll be around.
