Hi there,
I've been using my Charge 2 for months without any problems until I changed my phone. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy A40 and the 2 devices only synch intermittently. The last time they synched was 4 days ago. It's driving me crazy, they currently cannot be paired. I reach the stage where I enter the 4 digits and that's it. They were communicating fine until then. I've tried reinstalling the app, I've turned both devices off and on again. Help please !!

the charge 2 is not compatible with the A40. The list is update so always check to see compatible phones, but if you have checked it in the last 6 months no need to check it again as hasn't changed. I know I hear your pain, but its a fibit problem, looks like they want you to buy the latest greatest phone for it to work. Have been waiting months for them to support the A40 so looks like they cant make it happen or wont. A suggestion would be to buy a Garmin, should be some good deals in black Friday sales for some. Also bear in mins no Fibit product is supported on the A40 so don't go getting a charge 3 thinking it will work.

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm really annoyed that Fitbit don't support my new phone. My previous Galaxy S6 was about 3 years old and I had no problems. Hard to believe that my new phone is not compatible. Renders my Charge 2 (18 months old) useless. Not happy !!

I have an A40 as well. Fitbit works with it, but the problem is that my Samsung can't pair with the fitbit.
I created a backup of the fitbit app and settings on my old phone and put that on the A40.
That works even though the fitbit isn't actually paired with the A40.

That's certainly strange alright Merlin. Unfortunately my old phone died so I can't access it. I might try doing something with my Galaxy tablet and see if that works.

My Samsung 40 was working fine until Tuesday afternoon when there was an app upgrade and now won't sync. I spent 50 minutes on hold to support this morning before a message said leave a message and they'd get back to me. At least 6 hours later I'm still waiting!

I have the same problem. Husband has A40 and charge 2 and it was working fine (despite saying it's not compatable on the fitbit website) until this week. Not sync'd for 4 days now.
I have an A40 too, and our kids do. Each of us had a fitbit but mine gave up working a few weeks ago and now my husbands. So far the kids are still working but I've already bought a Garmin and now decided to get another for hubby. I'm expecting to do the same for the kids.
The issues with the Samsung A40 seem to have been reported to Fitbit since the phone came out and yet nothing has been done to fix it.
Incidentally, my Garmin works like a dream (bit more expensive than the Charge but totally worth it), just incase you fancy treating yourself for Christmas.

Its Samsung A10 as well, mine too isn't compatible and since update wont sync or pair.

Still no luck with my phone 😡. I've already written my letter to Santa so I'm afraid getting a new device is not an option. The lack of response from Fitbit is infuriating. I downloaded the app onto my tablet(Galaxy 10) last night and it paired straight away. I was able to get the info I wanted but its not good enough. I'm hardly going to carry my tablet when I'm out and about. The phone app is so handy to show to my doctor/physio etc.
Hard to believe that the Fitbit team cannot give us an approximate date or at least let us know how close there are to sorting a fix.

Same here. Galaxy A40 and everything worked fine till about the 23rd and now hasn't synced since then. Spent a frustrating hour messing on with it till I came on the Community Boards and realised it's my new (ish) phone that's the problem.Had the phone for just over a month now and everything was fine till the 23rd.
Puts paid to my idea of treating myself to a Charge 3 for Xmas.......you've lost a sale there Fitbit.

Well this is weird - my FB and phone just randomly synched. I didn't ask it to as I'd given up on it.
Sitting down, having a coffee and voila !! All updated for the missing days 😲. I'm not complaining, I'm delighted to be back in action but strange all the same
