Saving data charge 2 but now just bought charge 3 today

If I add the 3 to my app will it erase all of my data from 2? If I sync the 2 before adding the 3 will the 2 info be on my computer and not my phone now?

All your data is held on the fitbit servers so will be safe.

The process when you get a new fitbit is:

• give the old one a last sync (if you can)
• go into the account section of the app (the icon looks like an ID card) and select "set up a device". Choose your new fitbit model and follow the prompts. This will add the new fitbit to your account
• you can then choose to leave your old one connected so you can swap between them or select the old one and choose to remove it from your account. This will not affect your data.
• As these changes are to your account they will apply to both your phone and computer
