Scanning food items in the UK

Hi,

As I am in the UK, I believe I am unable to scan food items unless I switch to the USA setting. I have tried this but unfortunately very few (if any!) UK foods are in the database, so I have to enter everything manually.

I do add these to my own foods but I use many different food items so it is a bit tedious having to enter the details with every new one.

Is there a way round this, or if not, are there any plans to introduce food scanning for us UK citizens?

Many thanks.

That's brilliant, thanks.

I was using My Fitness Pal before I got Fitbit so this should be perfect.

Many thanks

I'm also in the UK and when I started with fitbit I realised the UK food database wasn't great. My solution was to log food in MyfitnessPal which has a very good UK database (and I think has scanning but I don't use this). The best thing is that you can link your MyfitnessPal and Fitbit accounts so that the food logged in one automatically syncs to the other.
