I've had my Charge 2 for 2 days and the screen is already scratched up. I wear it on my non-dominant hand and I have not dropped it, ran into a wall, or done anything where the screen would make contact with anything. I have worn a watch on the same arm for years and it never scratched. Why in the world would you make a fitness tracker that has such a weak and poor quality screen?!?! Or at least, send a screen protector with it. Contacted support and all they said was they could give me 25% off a new tracker. Really, I just paid $150 for this one 2 days ago, why would I spend more money for another one that will probably get scratched within 48 hours? It is disappointing, I love the actual tracker, but common sense should have told FitBit to make a tougher screen.

I'm glad that I purchased screen protectors for mine right away even though Fitbit never suggested that they should be used. I just happened to come across a post asking about them. They really should include at least one when you purchase but at the very least they should recommend using one.

The sad part is that the one I ordered when I saw it on Amazon (while ordering a leather band much cheaper than the ones offered by FitBit). It is supposed to deliver Monday. I never imagined the screen would scratch this bad before the screen protector could arrive.

I put a piece of scotch tape cut to size over mine until the screen protector came. Works great.

You can find some on places like Amazon. Or cut one as you said from a phone screen protector, has to be a soft protector as the screen is slightly curved and hard screen protectors won't work.

I totally agree. One should be included.

I had my Fitbit for about 4 days when a scratch appeared and don't know how it happened. I did contact customer service and looked on the community website. Two things, I got the same offer of 25% off, $111.75 would be the discounted price, and I seen someone say to use toothpaste to minimize scratches. I like someone's idea of using a screen saver from another product to ensure no other scratches will appear. I will post once I tried any of these ideas.

THERE IS NO SCREEN SAVER FOR FITBIT CHARGER 2 AT THIS TIME. I just used the chat feature with Fitbit and they haven't come out with one as of yet.

I put the screen protector on after my Fitbit was scratched and it has not only prevented additional marks, it also hid the old ones! I can't even see them!

Not ones made by Fitbit, but you can find some cheap on Amazon...

LarryRobin-
there are screen protectors for the Charge 2 from other companies. Check on Amazon; that's where I got mine and it fit perfectly.

I'm having the same problem. This is only the third day I've worn it, and the screen already has a big scratch. I work in an office! If this is what happens after 3 days of wearing it, it will have disintegrated entirely within a month. Totally unacceptable to use such shoddy materials on an expensive product meant for everyday wear. I'll be talking to Amazon to see if they'll take it back, since FitBit's only solution is "buy more of our cheaply made products for 25% off." Why would I spend more money on something that I already know is poorly made? So frustrating.

The minute I saw the large display I ordered screen protectors from Amazon for about 5 bucks. Small price to pay to protect the investment. No different than your phones!

Yes, I ordered the screen protectors too. But since they do not sell them in the store, I had to wait the 2 days for Prime shipping. The screen got scratched within the two days. My point is, this is an activity tracker...it is known by the company that you will be active when using it. So the screen should be made of something a little tougher. I would gladly pay a higher price to have a tougher screen.
