I'm really disappointed with fitbit. Cheap product, badly designed, overpriced and really stupid costumer service, you always feel like you're talking to a drugged robot. Hope I can trick someone into buying the charge 2 they tricked me to buy.

I can't believe it but the toothpaste worked. Unbelievable. Thanks for the suggestion.

despite the scratched screen & slowly unraveling band, I actually really like the Fitbit Charge 2; having said that, I have a Huawei Watch 2 on the way & if I like it I may eventually buy a Huawei Fit. Not sure if I want to do the dual Activity Tracker/Smartwatch thing yet. I'll probably just use the Charge 2 as a backup.

Lindseybell can you post a link to the screen protectors you bought? I bumped mine on a wall at work and it scuffed up the bottom of the screen😩

Hello, i've had my Fitbit for a few months now, and have starting to get scratches on the screen after the first 2 or 3 weeks, At the beginning I had felt it was no bid deal, but now they are getting worse. But I do have a 1 year warranty from Fitbit that ends somewhere in December.
So i was wondering what I would be able to do to get it fixed? Would it be covered in the warranty? If not what can i do to fix them?
Thanks

Fitbit does not have screen protectors but you can find them on Amazon. Just search Fitbit charge 2 screen protectors. You can also find them on other sites like eBay

I ordered a 6 pack of screen protectors from Amazon when I got my Charge 2 last November. I'm still using the first one I applied. It's completely invisible, no bubbles. Not coming off after 5 months. There's no way I could do yoga without it, the face would hit/rub the floor. Plus any other random scratching that would have happened...

I bought the Skinomi screen protector for my Charge 2. You can find it on Amazon for about $7. It comes with six protectors and it works great. Seriously though, Fitbit should at least provide one as the plastic is ridiculously scratch prone.

I am so upset! I ordered the IQ shield screen protectors from amazon when I got my fitbit because I had a feeling it would get scratched(im clumsy) and they didnt arrive! The box of protectors came open and without the actual protectors inside!
Now after 10 days of wearing it and waiting for another protector which will take a few months to get here, it got a really ugly white scratch! It really scratches extremely easy 😞
Toothpaste worked for a scratch a few days ago but not this one.

I wear my Fitbit Charge 2 all the time. Unfortunately with the screen on the bottom of the wrist it got scratched up by the edge of my desk. When I bought the Fitbit I also bought the Skinomi screen protectors because they were highly rated. The application is a little tedious since it uses a spray on solution for cleaning and positioning the screen protector. Their site has a video for the application to the Charge 2. Anyway I finally put on the screen protector and it looks as good as new. I think it has something to do with the spray on solution because I cannot see the scratches. They recommend waiting 24 hours after application for the solution to dry. I'm very happy with the results.

Can someone provide a little more detail on the toothpaste scratch fix? A short YouTube video would be great. I am used to polishing optical fibers with gritty compounds, but getting a high polished finish is tricky. I just don't want to end up with a screen that had lots of fine scratches on it and a matte finish look.

Sounds like the adhesive is acting like an index matching gel. If it had an index of refraction similar to the material of the face of the fitbit, it fills in the scratch and eliminates scattered light... no more visible scratch.

I was disappointed also, mine cracked, I bought some touch screen temp repair glue and some rhinoskin shields. Seems to be perfect now. Fitbit needs to have a repair center!

As far as replacement bands, you can find really nice (and cheap) bands on amazon. I bought 3 so that I'll always have one and didn't even spend over $20

I agree, it should totally come with a protector, maybe like ones that come with iphones? My charge 2 has a ton of scratches and all i did was just "wear it"
its only been 2 weeks

You can buy replacements on Wish.com. $4 in many colors. Easy to attach to the Fitbit too.

Do the screen protectors even work?
Some people say the screen protectors cause chipping. Also, that they're a pain to install. Anyone had this problem?

I love my screen protector, it has worked amazing and I used it to correct a crack in my screen.
RhinoSkin shield, active protection. I followed the directions and it worked perfectly
