Toothpaste didn't work for me.
Try Polywatch (designed for this type of screen) or autosol

My puppy just stole my fitbit and put a little but annoying tooth mark on my screen. Why O Why the screen. They have replacement bands, but can't find out about replacement screens anywhere. Also I didn't get the warranty, haven't decided if that was a good or bad idea...

Well @MumB Fitbit does have 1 or 2 year warranty depending on the country it was purchased for.
In your case the extended wsrsnty would have been good since it covers physical damage.

Personally I think that we should be able too repair our fitbits because just daily activities and my is badly scratched, I've only had it a month. Also we should be able to repair it seems as though we use it for exercise and of course we may trip or fall. I think that screen protectors shouldve come with our Fitbit because they are essential seeing how many at each damaged so easily.☹️

I think I found the remedy for scratched Fitbit screens. I rubbed a very fine glass stove top cleaner into the surface to remove most of the deep scratches. Anything really fine like that should work, just be careful. That will leave the crystal dull looking but "ok. Then I ordered the 6 pack of IQ Shields for Charge 2 on Amazon for $6.95. Applied the plastic shield and it looks as good as new. Nice and shining. We'll see how long it last, but it looks good for now.
Good Luck

Wal-Mart has bands for that work for fitbit. I bought one for mine. Not too pricey either. Or Amazon.

Beware cheap imitation bands - I nearly lost my Fitbit because they can come unclipped unexpectedly!!!

Unfortunately, acrylic/plastic is not scratch proof. Gorilla glass is the same. Once you have a scratch you are stuck with it. Luckily, with the Charge 2 it can be polished out really easy, and in a few mins the screen is back to normal.
Any plastic/acrylic scratch remover should work.
Here is my thread about it: How to fix scratches on charge 2
I used Autosol (metal) but any of these should work fine. Polywatch is recommended.
Halfords - Fenwick plastic/acrylic scratch remover (not used but cheap)
Autosol - soft and hard plastic remover (I used the metal one which was great, this may be even better)
Watch Face restorer (not used)
Polywatch (not used but friends with acrylic/plastic watch faces swear by this stuff)
Here is a review, before and after using Polywatch on a Charge 2, looks like it works great!
