I have had my charge 3 for about a month now and it suddenly stopped coming on when I lift my arm. I have tried tapping the screen but that does not work. The only way to get it on is to press the haptic button.
what can be done to fix this? I have confirmed that the settings are correct but nothing seems to work. I have tried changing watch faces as well as charging the device.

Although you say you have confirmed that the settings are correct, it sounds to me like you have turned off 'Screen Wake' or are in 'Sleep Mode'. Both can be accessed by pressing left side button a few seconds and scrolling down.

It seems it was in sleep mode. Not sure how it happened but thank you for the tip. Back to life.

I tried this but still nothing. It’s not the first time it has done this in the last few weeks. And thus is my second charge 3 as my first one had a fault with lines on the face. Was replaced no issue. But miffed that this one is now playing up

I was also having problems with screen wake not working. I was able to find the setting, but tapping on it wouldn't turn it on. Because sleep mode was turned on! Took me a day of some frustration and coming across this post to realize that you first have to make sure that Sleep Mode is turned off BEFORE you can change the screen wake setting.

Yay, I was just having this problem too and now it's working. Mine went in sleep mode somehow too. Thanks
