Screen Wake isn't working on my Charge 4

My fitbit does not display the time when I lift my wrist. I have to push the button every time.

Hi there, @Sandyrob. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided about the inconvenience with Screen Wake feature. 

As @JohnnyRow has suggested, please go to your quick settings and check that screen wake hasn't accidentally been turned off. To do so, press and hold the button, and swipe left to access the quick settings screen. Tap a setting to turn it on or off. When you turn off the setting, the icon appears dim with a line through it.

If this settings is set correctly, please try restarting your Charge 4 by following these steps: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

You probably accidentally have Screen Wake turned off; if not that you probably are in Sleep Mode.  Access both in Quick Settings by pressing side button for a few seconds.

 

Hard to believe you have not run into this before as a long-time Fitbitter.

 

 

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
