Screen corrupted. White lines

I put my fit bit on the charger. He has been showing white lines since then. I have already tried to restart, but this has no effect.

No. Nothing worked for mine either. I had to get a replacement. Fitbit sent me a new pebble. Good luck!

Hi, my wife is having the same issues with her charge3, plugged it in to charge last night and now it has white lines, I only bought in Dec for her Birthday, could you please let me know what I need to do, I have tried the long reset however they are still there. many thanks

Try doing a hard reset. If that doesn't work, then contact customer
support. It didn't work for mine and they replaced it under the warranty.

Couldn’t fix it, but I contacted for bit directly and they sent me a new one, not the straps just the watch .

Unfortunately, I got mine a year ago Christmas so it was just out of warranty. No replacement—just a 25% discount on their website, which I have seen them on sale for less. Seems like this model has a short shelf life with all the people having this same issue. I had years of use on all my other Fitbit devices. I will try buying one on eBay or move to another brand. Not happy.

My fitbit is doing this as well. Plugged it in this morning, white lines now. What caused it and how do I fix it. This device is far too expensive and I have had it less than a year.

There isn’t a fix. You will have to get a new device and it will stop syncing next.

Will fitbit not replace it? I just bought it last year for my birthday.
This device is disappointing to say the least. How does it even become
"corrupted"?

They do replace it if you contact them directly

MIne started today. I called customer support and they offered me a discount too since it was a year ago that I purchased it. The thing I brought to the customer support agent is if the product continues to have this issue why they don't fix it? There are 49 comments on this board spanning over a year all claiming the same issue. Fitbit needs to step it up.

It seems that Fitbit will only stand by their products for one year. After that, if the screen fails, you have to buy another one. I guess that you get what you pay for over and over and over.

 

I am not going to buy another one of these products, as expensive as they are they should last longer than a year or two.

After years of Fitbit’s, I have purchased an Apple Watch. I used fitbit for tracking heart rate fluctuations. That 25% from their site only, was a real turnoff.

I’ve had the same problem but my lines are black. Mine also started when the tracker was under 10%! 2 black horizontal lines appeared, then daily more lines, then vertical lines started too. Now I can’t read the screen at all. I’m still wearing it because it still tracking everything, but I can’t read anything on it!

I've had the same issue and would very much like some support on this. I started to get a few horizontal lines on the charge 3 and now i have partial screen blankness nad more lines. I've tried both soft and hard resets to no avail. any help would be appreciated.
