Just want to add this happened to my Charge 3 as well 2 weeks ago. First lines appeared which I didn't notice right away maybe because it was first one line then more when I couldn't read the time well. Then within a few days went completely black. Tried everything I knew to do from previous fitbits i.e. reboots then contacted fitbit help. Just want to say I am also very sad disappointed at the lack of longevity. I think this is my 3rd of 4th fitbit starting with a charge that had a band issue and was replaced under warranty. replacement only lasted under another year when it started to show same band problems. Fitbit help gave me discount on next purchase which was charge hr. It last maybe 2 years then ended up getting charge 3 from Walmart as that was a cheaper option than offered or I was just frustrated and wanted something right away. Anyway so sad that about 2 years this one failed as well. Fitbit help are very responsive and tried everything with me before sending me a discount on next purchase. Was happy that this discount was better than what I had ever had before...more than 25%. So just when I was about to jump the fitbit ship, I have ordered the versa 2. fingers crossed as I see already issues posted on the community. I hope to be lucky and have it last a LONG time....more than 2 years. Maybe that is unrealistic. Maybe I need to unplug after this one.

Same happened to me. I had problems with charge 2, one replacement within warranty. Then upgraded to charge 3. Within warranty lines appeared on screen and device stopped working. The pebble was replaced by Fitbit but now only a few days out of warranty this charge 3 has totally died. I’ve been offered a discount to purchase another but it’s just not good enough. Loved my fitbits but going to go for apple now. Daughter just lent me her 5 year old watch to try…..certainly none of my fitbits have even last anymore than 18 months!
