Screen not lighting up when turning wrist

I got my charge 3 a week ago and at some point today the screen stopped lighting up when I turn my wrist. I haven't changed any settings and I'm turning my wrist in the exact same way as I was before so I'm not sure what the problem is.

I figured it out, didn't realise there was another settings screen if you hold down the button

In my case the screen stopped turning on with a wrist twist even though the setting was turned on.

However this solution, turning the wrist setting off and back on, fixed it.

My screen is not turning on all of the sudden on my Fitbit 3 .  I keep reading to turn on the screen button?  Where is it??

press the button then after the clock comes on press the button again and hold it down. A "screen wake" option will pop up. cycle that. that fixed it for me.

no. this has been voted on extensively and they haven't made a move yet to do this.

Thank you, the option of active screen was disabled. Now works fine!
