My Charge 3 has white and grey stripes on the screen. I've tried a restart and I've changed clock faces. This is less than 2 months old. What gives, and more importantly, what do I do?

Start an online chat with customer support.  They quickly determined that I needed a replacement and within minutes I received my confirmation email that I will receive it in 5-7 days.

My Fitbit is doing the same thing.

you must have bought yours recently.  I bought mine in February and they are steadfastly refusing a replacement under warranty. 18 days without a working tracker - their fault. Disgusted with them. Customer service my backside.

In fact I bought mine March 4, 2019.  With only a 45 day warranty I'm out $150.  Even the extended warranty only covers accidental damage.  This problem is a defect.  So frustrating.

I’m having the same problem...just thought it was because the battery got low. Did everything including reboot and full charge.  I thing happened to it, just appeared. Help.

I am having the same issue--vertical streaks in the display of my charge 3.  I tried a reset, and it still has a very streaky display. I could almost live with that, but it's difficult to read in bright light.

I purchased my fitbit from the Navy PX in my area, this spring.  Is there a way to get it repaired or replaced?

Thanks for your help!

I contacted Fitbit and tried everything. Still streaks. They ended up
sending me a new face because it was still under warranty.

Oh good! Not sure how I feel about buying Fitbit in the future though if
this clearly seems to be a common problem. Smh

Tried all the hints to correct the issues but to no avail.  Customer Service should post the real solution and customer service support number in this thread.

As of yet- I’ve not received any assistance on this forum. It sounds to me
like what we have is a known problem and the company doesn’t care to
address it.

That’s my experience.

Hi Laurent, I have done every type of reboot possible on my Fitbit but the screen is fading more and more everyday - almost impossible to see now. I received the Fitbit as a gift in Canada at Christmas. I live in Dubai. Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this, or is it a lost cause?

thank you

Hi my current charge 3 is a replacement of one i got for Christmas which developed this blurry screen with white streaks problem within a few weeks of its acquisition. Now, 7 months later my replacement  has developed the same issue, as of Friday. I had noticed a narrow horizontal negative streak, where the screen could not draw, for a few weeks. then suddenly the whole screen is blurry with white streaks, it's more difficult to swipe the screen to different pages, and the battery wears down more quickly.

So my replacement will probably be useless too. So disappointed.

I can't believe this is so common. When I need to replace I'll be looking
at other brands.

Using my FitBit Charge 3 on travel & no charger with me. Battery runs out on day 7. Back at home on day 9 and I connect to charger and gave it a full charge. Restart and I now I have grey streaks top to bottom; hard to read the display; swiping between menus has become a little dodgy too.

Did reset (from settings menu), did reboot (8 sec press & hold whilst in charger); cannot seem to perform 15 sec press-n-hold reboot as device wakes up and just does the 8 second reboot process.

** Washed with fresh water, dried and some 3 hours later screen was back to normal **

I just started having this same issue today. I bought my Charge 3 Dec 2018. It seems it was a bad lot. Hopefully Fitbit can rectify this.

They replaced mine - eventually - and it's been great since.

I have had the exact same problems.  I also have tried to restart mine with no success.  I bought mine in August of last year.  Everyone I have discussed it with believes there are probably some faulty LEDs.

The other issue is that since the white streaks began I cannot swipe between screens without trying several times without success

This is very frustrating since I have had problems with two Versas as well.  The first Versa was replaced free of charge as a warranty issue.  The second had the same exact problems, screen will not come on although the watch has power (heart rate lights are on).  Reliability seems to be a big issue with the more sophisticated models.  It makes me consider whether I should move to Apple now that their prices are much more reasonable.
