I've had several Charges over the years and the screens have always been the poorest part of them.
The latest problem is that twice the screen has reset itself so dim that I am unable to see the settings for changing it to normal brightness.

Hi Try going into a totally dark room so you can scroll over to settings and change the brightness to normal. I needed to do that with mine because my screen faded so much that I couldn't see it and not that it actually changed the settings to dim. If when you go to your settings they are set to normal then try changing your clock face if that doesn't improve then contact support. The screen fading is a known defect with the charge 4 and if you were still under warranty they should send you a replacement good luck
