Screen won't stay off!

I have turned off Quick View and Notifications, there is are no additional settings for Quick View in the app on my phone.  The screen continues to turn on randomly when I touch the non switch side of the fitbit, when I flick my wrist a bit too much, and well, just randomly it appears.  Also, when I scroll down it still shows a notification screen with 0 notifications.  I turned this off, can you not disable the slide down?

I'd also like a clockface with date on it.  Not sure how this could have been an oversight unless you plan to sell clock-faces as accessories later (sad...).

Hello @JayWms, thank you for your inquiry, and thanks for the help @seantnash, those are indeed the instructions to turn off the Wake Screen feature.

If you haven't done so already, try performing a restart to see how your tracker behaves, and with the Screen Wake option turned off. Also, in case this is related to the sensitivity of the side button, I would recommend that you also try adjusting the settings by opening the Settings app on your Charge 3, then Swipe up to see the full list of settings and tap on Button sensitivity. Try reducing the sensitivity and check if you continue to have the same experience.

@JayWms, also regarding the clockfaces, I saw this update earlier about new clockfaces coming soon that include the date as well.

I hope this helps, keep me posted.

If you hold down the left side “button” for a few seconds you will get two options - turn off screen wake and turn off notifications. Turning off screen wake should stop it from happening.

Sorry, that's what I meant by Quick View.  "Screen Wake" is off.  Notifications is off.  Try double-triple tapping your charge 3 on the side without the switch and see if your screen turns on.  If I push my sleeve up to see my charge 3, it turns on.

Hello @MissManyStyles, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums.

Thank you for sharing this information about what you've been experiencing with your Charge 3. Could you please provide a few more details about the steps that you've followed? Have you tried turning off the Screen Wake option on your Charge 3 and the restart procedure

If you already tried these steps and you continue to experience the same difficulties, make sure to try to complete the factory reset as well, then check if you continue to experience the same behavior.

Keep me posted.

Hi Davide,

"I would recommend that you also try adjusting the settings by opening the Settings app on your Charge 3, then Swipe up to see the full list of settings and tap on Button sensitivity."

This isn't an available option. Am I missing something?

Welcome to the Community forums @SunsetRunner.

Thank you for your inquiry about the screen of the Charge 3.

As you've mentioned, this option is no longer available on the Charge 3 settings menu. Let me know if you're having any specific problem with the screen wake feature or with the screen turning on too easily.

Please keep me posted.
