Screen won’t turn on when plugged in just horizontal line-Charge 3

My charge 3 problems started one evening when it wouldn’t turn on when I turned my wrist I put it in charger and pushed button on side. It seemed to helped   But during that night it went crazy flashing and vibrating. Again I plugged it in and pushed button and left it die the rest of the night.  But since then it won’t do anything when not in charger won’t turn on. Tried to update but it can’t find the Charge 3. In the charger it is just the horizontal line or sometimes the smiley face. Can’t change clock face the phone can’t connect to it. My charge 3 is not that old. Help.

In addition to the restart, you can find some other troubleshooting steps to resolve battery issues in this article.

 

Whether this doesn't help, you can try a long restart:

 

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable. 
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds. 
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration. 
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur. 
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.
