My Fitbit charge 3 has nothing on the screen but continues to sync and vibrate. Also, green light on the inside of watch still works.

Hi all,
I found that I had to change the clock face, using the Fitbit app.
That would make the screen visible again.
Then I could change the clock face back.
Hope that helps and works for you.
It's not a great solution, and when I used the chat, all Fitbit could suggest was using a different clock face.
Does anyone know how to escalate this issue to Fitbit?

I've had this happen twice so far and only had the watch since start of June. They need to sort this out

This is happening to me, too. Odd that several people are having the problem at nearly the same time. My Charge 3 is just about six weeks old. I am not a happy camper, but I will try the solutions.

My device started fading a week ago & went completely black yesterday. Still records data to the app, however.

Same for me. Tried hard reset and changing the clock face - didn't work. Screen is black all the time - when connected to charger as well.
This really should be sorted out.

I also have the same issue with my charge 3. It started going dim a few weeks ago. I change the brightness setting to auto which helped for 2 days then it went black again last night. I tried the restart and changing clock face. Screen is still black.

I failed to say this is my 2nd device in less than 2 years. FitBit was replaced last year with the same problem!

I have had this happen to me a few times since May, it always happens randomly. The first time I put it on charge and the screen started working again. The second time I left it for 3-4 hours to see if it would resolve itself, it didn't. I held the button for about 5-10 seconds and it vibrated a few times then the screen worked.
Has anyone got a new one because of this?

I was thinking of phoning FitBit as mine is still under guarantee. A friend has the same model and has had it for longer and not experienced this issue!

I’m having the same issue. Tried the reboot and changing the clock face but screen is still blank. Still syncing and recording data. The screen has also been dimming over the last 2 weeks. Extremely frustrating when you’ve paid for something full of faults 😡

This isn’t off this is normal problem with Fitbit charge 3 hr. The same thing happened to two if mine. Don’t buy another one they will never replace it. They have known for two years it is a problem and they keep selling them. They don’t care about their customers.

Same thing with me! I find it ironic that the new Charge 4 came out and now people with 3s are having issues.

Mine has also gone off earlier today. I cant change the clock screen either, it says device not found, even though it is still syncing. Ive only had it about 5 weeks 😞
