Screens blank, but still vibrates and syncs

My Fitbit charge 3 has nothing on the screen but continues to sync and vibrate. Also, green light on the inside of watch still works.

Ok, i seen someone had said to press and hold the side button for about 10 seconds. This has worked for me but ONLY whilst doing it while on charge. Hope this helps others...

Thanks that has worked for me too but I think we all agree it's not a great remedy if we're out for the day and shouldn't be happening on new Fitbits.
