You're right - it's not on the app.

1. On your fitbit screen, swipe left till you get to the top icon marked
Alarms.
2. Tap that icon and a + sign will pop up so you can add the alarm. The
current time will appear but tap that if you want to change them time.
3. Choose the hour time and tap, choose the minute time and tap, choose am
or pm and tap.
4. Scroll up if you want to either smart wake where it slowly wakes you up
a half hour before your alarm goes off or repeat if you want to set it for
certain days or all the days if the week.
5. To cancel the alarm go back to the screen showing the alarm time and
tap alarm off.
6 to delete it entirely scroll down past the repeat icon and there's a
garbage can, tap that then the check mark.

Hope this helps

My device does not have this silent alarm menu. I can't figure out how to change my alarm now me screen is broke. I've looked all over for the + icon too.

I'll try to help.
1. If you still can, swipe left until you see the Alarms icon on the top
section of your screen. Then tap it.
2 That should open up a screen with a plus sign on the bottom of your
screen. Tap it.
3. There will be a time that is the same time as now. Tap it and that will
allow you to set the time by scrolling the hour (tap) and the minutes (tap)
and am or pm(tap).
4. If you scroll down from there once you've tapped on you can set days to
repeat the time or if you want to gently awake half an hour early (I never
do)
5. To cancel the alarm scroll further down and there is a garbage can icon.
Tap it then the check mark.
Hope this helps

What screen is the app "dashboard". A screenshot would be most helpful and understand there might be a difference between iOS and Android and those with a premium plan and those without.  The only thing I see when I push a "+" icon is "Add Sleep Log". When I'm in my profile window the only "+" is for adding a device.

Sorry - from what you've given, no help at all.

I've never advised setting alarms from the fitbit app! It's always been
done from the fit bit itself.

RecoveryRunner, you are correct and your solution worked great. My post, which landed under your post - so it seemed pointed to you - was inspired by my angst after reading the first post (page 1) of this series where there was talk of a dashboard and plus sign.

I apologize for not noticing the chronology of the posts and not starting my reading on the last page. As your post resolved the issue perfectly (I now know how to set and delete alarms) one generation would say, “Your king fu is strongest.” Another would say, “You are king of the lab.” Of course, these days, so as not to make an assumption, I should probably spell it “kingx”.

Thank you again for your very workable solution.
