I'm sorry, I guess I have the old dashboard. In the lower right hand
corner there is a + sign in a circle. If I click on that, several icons
come up - one being set alarm. If this isn't on your dashboard, I'm afraid
I can't help you. Good luck!!

It doesn't help when we purchase an expensive device only to have it fail between the app and the device, when the device RELIES on the app. And for their support to have numerous, countless reports of the same issue, and nothing to be done.

It has NOTHING to do with someone not spending their time setting the **ahem** thing up, it just fails.. and yes it is connected to bluetooth fine, or was. it depends on if it wants to or not.

Nothing to do with the user, it's the device. Read the google play comments, apparently since the last update everyone is having sync issues. Not only that, if I set an alarm, it takes upwards of 20 minutes for the charge 3 to recognise it, let alone setting things like Celsius from Fahrenheit.

So, sure, it doesn't help calling people wankers, they've already got the money, yeah? nah.

Thank you @GridRunner . On the android ap it is buried very deep, and there is no way to customize the home screen or make it more easily accessible. Seems like an over site by the developers. Maybe now that Google bough them, things will be better designed for Android.

Hello,
I am having difficulty following the alarm set up instructions. On my dashboard in the app (which I just downloaded) - I can not see a + sign icon. Can you help?

Best Answer

Thanks. You are the only one who has been able to explain it to me. None of the other suggestions appear on my app.

Not on my app - and I just downloaded the latest version for IOS

Hi there. Sorry to take so long responding.
1. On the fitbit app touch the circle or picture of you on the top left
hand side. (An inbox is on the right side). A page with your device showing
in the middle should down up.
2. Tap on your device (mine is a charge 3) and another page opens up with
general In turquoise blue.
3. Scroll down and you'll see "Silent Alarm" tap on that and there's a plus
sign to add alarms.
Hope this helps.

Such a convoluted process, when it should be a part of the device itself.

You forgot the final step, too. Try for 10 minutes to sync with the device then wait an hour for the alarm to appear.

I have no + on my dashboard either. I wish someone could tell me why. It
would be cool to have alarms.

From home page go to top left, click on your picture - account page.

Account page - click on charge 3

Charge 3 page - scroll down past wrist placement. Mine says Silent Alarm, click then on top right click on + to set alarm.

I got it. Finally.
But on my dashboard, it's on the right side, and under the settings icon.
Our dashboards seem to have different configurations.

Glad it worked for you Andrew. I never found any directions to shut the
alarm off. Just kind of stumbled on this one. Sometime you have to post
the tracker more tn one, two or three times. However have never had to push
it more tant 5 times and that is rare!

You may have a newer version than I do. The + sign is in the lower right
hand corner of the dashboard that I'm using. If you click on that there are
otions available including set alarms. If that doesn't work, I'm sorry I'm
no help to you. Good luck
