Setting Charge 2 on new phone

My phone wen dead last week. Have a new one now but my charge 2 won't pair with it assumingly cause it's not been 'unpaired' from the old one. Have removed it from account but still no luck. It'll get to the bit with the four numbers but then won't connect. Apparently there is no manual factory reset so am completely at a loss now

Let me help you setting up your Charge 2 on your new phone. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

I am suffering the same problem as OP and have followed all the steps to no avail, please help. I deleted my tracker from my account as it wasnt syncing and now I cannot pair it and it gets stuck after I input the 4 digit code into my phone.
