Should I just take a walk? Or record it? Charge 2

I’ve been wondering if it’s worth recording an activity other than to remind myself that I did something, sort of like a diary of my workouts. Do I benefit from saying I’m doing weights? A walk? A hike? Intervals? My goals are to hit a decent amount of steps but most important is to see my resting heart rate drop. Do I get extra credit for doing workouts (kinda joking) or is the monitoring of my work (heart rate, steps) the same regardless. I hope I’m making sense.

Thanks

There is no extra credit for getting them recorded as workouts.  You get the same physical cardiovascular benefits.  And your steps, calorie burn, and active zone minutes will all contribute to daily totals just the same.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
