Showing high calories burned

My Fit bit caloriechart shows I burned high calories like in peak HR even when not in use. I  understand it shows standard claories burned by body everyday even when not in use. But this is different.

Hi @Revathy welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm here to help you with your calories concern.

Let me share with you that your BMR usually accounts for at least half of the calories you burn in a day and is estimated based on the physical data you entered when you set up your account: sex, age, height, and weight. Also, the calorie burn estimate that Fitbit provides takes into account your BMR, the activity recorded by your tracker, and any activities you log manually. That said, seems odd that you received such amount of calories burned if you were not wearing your device.

I'd recommend you to uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app, reboot your mobile device and let me know how it goes. This could be a graph error for a single day, therefore, please let me know if you experienced this situation before.

I'll be looking to your reply. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
