Showing incorrect resting heart rate

The graph shows my heart rate between 54-63 through the night but my resting heart rate is showing a constant 64 for past week. Before that it ranged from 60-62. Why is this happening

It is common to see heart rates lower than your RHR.  Some places consider RHR the lowest your heart rate gets during a day.  Fitbit's does not reveal how it calculates RHR but it is not quite the same of some other sources.  But it still serves the same purpose, to look at long-term trends for fitness, and perhaps short-term variations to tell if you are getting sick, overtired, etc.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I have also suddenly found my Charge 2 to be wildly inaccurate. When I was sleeping at 69 and 70, and had heart rates higher than that all day, my RHR was given as 70, yet now when I'm sleeping at 58-65 my RHR is given as 77. I have gone back and even found days where my RHR given was lower than any heart rate I had during the day, and others high as 13 beats higher than my lowest heart rates of the day. I also agree that the article gives zero information.

I wear another tracker as well and it consistently gives me an "average" resting heart rate 4-8 beats lower than my Charge 2. I am now absolutely certain that the Fitbit is incorrect. I'm torn, the Charge 3 was a mess when released, I've had many Fitbits too. But if this keeps up I'll be forced to look at alternatives. It makes me look unhealthy even though I'm pretty healthy and workout almost every day.
