Silent alarm for Charge 4

My new charge 4 arrived today and I can’t locate silent alarms. I sync with an iPhone 6.

My previous Fitbit was an Inspire HR which had it.

Loving the Charge 4, more comfortable for me and a bit easier to read when outside

With the Inspire HR, you had to set silent alarms from your phone app.  With the Charge 4, you set them right on the tracker.  From the main clock screen, scroll right (swipe left) to see the apps, one of which should be 'Alarms'.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thank you so much, I’ve found things I didn’t know it had, 😂😃

PLEASE allow alarms to be set from phone app as well. It was so much easier with multiple alarms

I have nothing about alarms on my fitbit, just awake, do not disturb and sleep. This charge 4 was a replacement for my charge 3 that was faulty but at least I could do that on the app and it was so much easier. Not impressed!

Best Answer

I agree. The phone app needs to do more. The alarms need to be able to be set from the app. The do not disturb and other features are not very well documented. Please increase functionality of the app. The charge 3 was easier to use.

I finally managed to sort it out but so much easier on charge 3. I thought the 4 would be better!

Best Answer

Also please place the Silent Alarm on dashboard, or maybe make it part of Sleep app.

OMG Yes! Would make it 1000% easier. I think I've set my alarm for work tomorrow, but not 100% sure. Just got my new Fitbit Charge 4 this afternoon

Aggree w those voting to put back the option t manage it from the app too! Worthless doing only from fitbit. Cant check what alarms youve set!

Best Answer

had the same issue going from charge 2 to 4. in the amount of time it took to set 1 alarm on device i could have set several through the app. in these days of flux in office/wfh schedules it would be so much nicer to be able to set from app

Best Answer

10000000% so much easier to manage silent alarms on the app!!!!  PLEASE bring it back

Best Answer

It's pretty unbelievable that you can't set and name alarms on the Fitbit app for the Charge 4. Please introduce this incredibly basic functionality 😘

Completely agree with Gymbat.  I just upgraded from Charge 3 to Charge 4 and find that the inability to set alarms from the phone app to be a real DOWNGRADE.  Please fix.  Thank you!

might be handy for a single alarm needed but for routine alarms the app control is way superior

My Charge 4 fitbit not alarm, how can i fix it ?

one of the apps is for an alarm. you have to swipe your display
right-to-left until the alarm shows up (number of swipes depends on number
of apps you have chosen). once you get there the steps are outlined. good
luck - its a pain to multiple alarms
Best Answer
You do it on the watch. Swipe to the left and you eventually come to alarm.
Tap it then tap to set new alarm. For it to do same every morning turn
repeat on.

everyone knows HOW to do it on the watch, the point is it’s a pain, so many steps and you can not manage ALL your alarms at a glance.  On the app is so much easier - takes two seconds!!!!  WHY TAKE IT OFF THE APP, makes no sense.

Best Answer
just an fyi - someone did ask how. and yes, it is a pain overall. one of
the main reasons my 4 is the backup and i primarily use my 2.
should one want an alarm set "on the fly" it is convenient to set it on the
device.
i think having both options would be a vast improvement
