Like so many others here, my Charge 2 loses sync w/ my previous Android phone and now my new phone almost daily.
Judging from both personal experience and this forum - I think it's pretty clear Fitbit is not going to fix the issue. Ever.
But would it be too much to ask that the app on the phone pop up a notification saying "Surprise! Your Fitbit device is no longer syncing"
That way I'd be ticked off before the 5K race that I won't have any data rather than opening up the app with anticipation after the 5K race to find out I got no data. And maybe when I run by the water stop - I could just chuck an overpriced electronic trinket into the can w/ the paper cups. 😉
Yeah I understand that the device pretty much requires daily 'fiddling' to get it to sync much of anything. Hey it's almost 2020 and while I know that things like tracking devices that consistently sync are probably centuries in the future - I can dream right? All I'm asking for is a phone app that somehow 'monitors' and when it notices no sync it tells me so I can manually daily fiddling to get it to sync again... Hey the device gives me these stupid get up and walk notifications after all - how about a constructive notification?
