Is there a way to track downhill skiing on my charge 3?  if not, would the smart track auto exercise sport mode track downhill skiing?

Thank you for your help in this matte.

@Dmonster72, welcome to the community! I don't see 'Skiing' option among the activities that can be tracked, unfortunately... There's a general 'workout' option though that can be used. To your point, when Charge 3 cannot identify particular activity, it would record it as "Sport" (downhill skiing produces plenty of vibration for it to pick up and I'd think your HR would jump up as well ;))! I have plenty of "Sports" on my log even due to non-sport related activities like gardening and vacuuming (lol) - I think you should be fine!

Charge 3 and fitbit is total **ahem**e

regarding skiing. Even if you select run exercise and use gps it does not take distance from gps but from steps which are very few. Whereas the sportstracker gives you some 15 km, fitbit gives you around 4 - wtf?

I do not understand that it supports such a sport like weight lifting and does not support popular sports like skiing. Where are you living fitbit team? Sahara? You should at least have the distance  count rely on gps. Quite a disappointment and I surely do not recommend using fitbit for skiing.
