Sleep data changed after charging my Charge 3

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

my sleep data used to track sleep stages (rem light awake and deep sleep ) and had been ok up until I charged it today. When I looked after charging it had changed my data for last Tuesday to say I had almost 16 hrs sleep (I didn’t) and it’s tracked sleep differently with sleep quality and a different chart.

Hey there @Dawn12345, thanks for stopping by! If your Charge 3 is no longer tracking your sleep stages, I'd recommend restarting your Fitbit

Additionally, please make sure you follow the tips and recommendations to get sleep stages. The information can be found at: What should I know about sleep stages?

In regards to the 16 hrs slept, are you looking at your Fitbit app? If you can you please share with me a screenshot of it? Also, I was wondering if by any chance you did not manually change the sleep history?

In the meantime, I'd recommend doing the following:

  • Make sure that your Fitbit app is up-to-date
  • Log out of your Fitbit app
  • Force quit the app
  • Turn off the Bluetooth
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes
  • Turn on the Bluetooth
  • Log back into your Fitbit app

Looking forward to your reply!

The same has happened with my app... the sleep graphic has changed. Just awake, restless and sleep bars. No more REM, light sleep, deep sleep etc..

I am also being asked to upgrade to premium to get sleep data.  Wow, I sure paid a lot of money for a step tracker.  Will not be buying another Fitbit.  Very disappointed.
