Hi there , for the past couple of weeks I've been getting only the basic sleep data. Prior to that I was getting the full detail almost every night. Can you help me get the data back please?

@SpinyNorman It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your sleep stages. You might not get sleep stages for the following reasons:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

Let me know how it goes.

I am having the same problem. Started right after update of user interface on my Android phone. Charge 2 is up to date.

I followed some advice that was emailed to me.

I cleaned the back of the Fitbit, turned off Heart rate and synced to my phone. Then turned on heart rate and synched again. It worked that night. First time for a while. The next night it went back to basic data but I htink it needed charging. I'll try again tonight.
