Sleep displays red dot in app

Got up this morning and checked me sleep in the app on my iPhone 7. When I went to look at the details of last nights sleep there was a red pulsing dot in the center of the graph display with a red message box.   So I tapped the graph to see it full screen but still couldn't read it.   When I went back to the daily details the dot was gone.  The device has an 80% charge so it shouldn't be a battery indicator.   Does anyone know what that could have been?

@Fschw, welcome! It's great to see you around!

Let me help you with your Fitbit app. This is odd and I haven't seen this in my own app. I suggest you log out from the app, restart your phone and log back in. If you see this again please take a screenshot of it.

Let me know how it goes.

I've been seeing the same thing, and can find no explanation regarding what information FitBit is trying to get across.  I've seen the red dot a number of times, and this morning, an orange dot.  It displays to the left of my sleep score on the "Today" dashboard within the iOS app.

@namethatworks Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with the icon you are seeing on your app. It doesn't sound familiar to me so could you share a screenshot of what you are seeing on your app? This will help have a better idea of what could it be.

I look forward to your reply.

I figured it out. It's a color coded shorthand for the sleep rating you
received from the previous night. Red is poor. Green is good. I’ve not seen
4 colors. Red is worst, then orange, then yellow, then green. It makes
sense once I realized what they were doing, but it’s introduced without any
explanation whatsoever.
