I was told by Fitbit customer service they're working on a fix. Latest update on by Fitbit on Android was July 22. Still no fix.

Okay so I have a charge for it mine does the same thing but what I found out is you push the begin sleep and it starts your sleeping then when you get up in the morning you push I'm awake it tells you the time you fell asleep and the time you wake up you write those two times down you go back in you delete that and then you go back up to the same place and you log a sleep session and you enter those two times when you fell asleep and woke up and your stages and scores will appear I went all the way back four and a half months when I figured this out a week ago and now I have sleep scores and stages for the whole entire time I've been wearing my Fitbit and it works every single day

As of July 29/22, Fitbit tells me they're aware of the problem and are working on it and will be getting back to mre.
This issue appears to be Android specific..
