Sleep score sync INSANELY slow on Charge 2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

In the last week my Charge 2 has struggled with retrieving sleep scores. The watch syncs to my phone, a sleep score comes up, but when I tap it to open, the app freezes and takes about a minute to load.

I have updated the app. Deleted and reinstalled. Removed and reconnected my Charge 2. Checked for updates... but nothing seems to have worked!

Any advice gratefully received!

I have a Charge 3, and I've been getting the same exact issue. My app will hang for a long time. Still had the issue even after I updated my phone's OS.

I have same problem.  I’m using a Charge3. Started a month or two ago.  Very frustrating.  Unfortunately, FitBit seems unwilling or unable to fix it.

Same thing here. Started about a month ago now with iOS and Fitbit HR. Updates on app and iOS are current. Just got the Inspire 2 and it didn’t fix it.

No only is this sleep sync taking a long time, now it’s saying my sleep start time is much later than Is correct. So my stats are totally off. I have a Charge 3 syncing to an iPhone.

It seems to work fine on my iPad which works on a different IOS. So an operating system problem?

Yes, my husband noticed that too, iPad efficiency vs. phone slowness.

Same thing for my Charge 4.  I've done all updates for my iphone and Fitbit and it's been agonizingly slow for the past month.

It’s been slow for me too. Also issues with having to restart the app every time I need to sync.  On a Charge 2 and iphone 11 combo.

I have the same slow sleep data syncing issues with a Charge 2 and an iPhone XS. Yet, I have the opposite problem than you regarding restarting the app to sync in general. Mine won't stop syncing!

A few months ago, my Fitbit device and app started to constantly update in the background despite my explicitly turning off background syncing in the app itself and in the iOS settings years ago. I forget to open the app to sync every day if I don't see it when looking at the app background switcher. That that doesn't mean I want it syncing in the background, sucking up precious battery power!

Your phone is only slightly newer than mine so it's interesting we have such different syncing problems. I futilely hope each update will fix all these syncing issues, but I think it just getting worse.

I have a charge 4 and iphone xr - same issue for at least a month now. Several updates since and I always think this is the one that will fix it...nope. It's really annoying and after issues with previous fitbits (annoying things like this) I think I'm done with this company. I've been a fitbit customer for several years and I'm seeing a gradual decrease in quality.
