I've been enjoying the new sleep stages on my Charge 2, but have discovered that if I do not sync with the app each day, sleep stages data appears to be lost. The most recent night's data will show with sleep stages, but any previous nights that had not yet been synced will show the old version of sleep data without stages. Is this expected behavior?!

Just found this thread upon Googling this exact issue!
Unfortunately, I don't have a Fitbit-verified answer as to whether it can be considered "expected behavior." I can only say I've been experiencing the same problem with my Charge 2, so it's definitely not just a fluke on your end. Kind of irksome as it means you're unable to view the typical Average/Benchmark/etc. data for any nights you forgot (or were unable) to sync immediately after. I certainly empathize. Hopefully someone either has a fix for this issue or one is developed eventually.

Same here. Used to work just fine, but for the last few months if I don’t sync it will show simplified sleep logs for all previous nights. As if we didn’t have enough things to do, now we need to remember to sync or just accept the information won’t be complete. I’ve had my Charge 2 for over a year and I’m surprised no one has even bothered checking this thread from Fitbit support. I just hope this is not one of those programmed obsolescence issues tech companies throw at us.

Earlier this year I had many problems syncing, sometimes 3-4 days between a sync, and never noticed a lack of sleep stages.

For what it's worth, this isn't an issue for me anymore. I didn't do anything in particular, and assumed it got fixed with an app update. Maybe reinstall?
