Hi. Got a Fitbit charge 4 a few weeks ago. It's good, does plenty of great things but I'm just amazed with where it falls short, how easy it would be to address the situation and how Fitbit seems to have ignored requests for years.
For me I'd like to track 2 things in particular, Soccer and Rowing machine. You can get around the Soccer one I suppose by either selecting workout or just going automatic. But then you are getting into editing issues. I'm on Android. If you select work out etc you can't edit it, you can't add notes, you can't change details. If you go automatic you can change the name but that's about it.
I like to use the rowing machine, no option. Some people you say use the elliptical but that just adds on steps and is not accurate. I could take the data from my Rowing machine and add strokes, cal, meters to Fitbit but they don't allow you to do that.
Reading through the forum this is an issue for years I just don't get why they can't be arsed to sort it out. Soccer:the most popular sport in the world and Rowing machines, not well used as a football but still up there.

I've been asking for the rowing machine too, for years and would be happy to see it added to the list of activities.
