I came here a few days ago with the "draining in 30 minutes" problem. I found a solution in one of the threads, originally posted by someone else. My post is number 26 in the thread. The solution was originally posted by someone named brightblurr777, kudos to him/her for the information!
As an update, when I first reset my fitbit was continually reporting 65% charge, never changed. I decided to charge it again to see what would happen. I charged it to 100% and took it off the charger, wearing it as I normally do, about 26 hours ago. It's now at 90% so my battery life seems to be back to normal or as expected.
Not saying it will work for you, but it did for me!

Just as an update, I charged to 100%, have been wearing the Charge2 all day but not at night as I usually do,synching as I normally do, and after 4-1/2 days my battery level is at 55%.
